Which musical instruments are easiest to learn to play out of Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums?
also which is the easiest to play?
Since I play all of the referenced instruments, in my opinion guitar is easiest since to play a chord all you do is hold down the right strings and strum. Bass is harder since there are no chords and you sometimes play counter to what the guitar is doing. Drums is probably the next hardest. Contrary to what everyone seems to think it’s more than your hands, it’s your feet as well. Each hand and foot are doing something completely different. This takes a lot of discipline to get right and a lot of practice. Piano is probably the hardest since each hand is doing something completely different. To go even further think about this, literally each finger is doing something completely different and independent of the other.
For most, it is guitar. But I prefer Drums.

All instruments are difficult to play *well* and all require a basic ability to keep time. They also all require coordination between both hands.
Of these four, piano is easiest because there is a single key for each note and the player does not have to tune it.
Next easiest is drums because the tuning does not have to be so precise as with the others.
Then bass because it has fewer strings (usually) than guitar and is usually required to produce a backing that has fewer notes.

40+ years of playing,
Well bass or drums would be the easiest to pick up at first. Guitar and piano would be fairly easy to pick up but get harder if you want to take them further.
Find the instrument which you enjoy playing the most and suits your favourite genre of music best.

I think Bass should be the easiest followed by piano.
