Hello - I must say, I’m impressed with your site. I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs and information was very easy to access. I found what I wanted in no time at all. Pretty awesome. Would appreciate it if you add forums or something, it would be a perfect way for your clients to interact. Great job

I've been playing all instruments at a high level from heavy metal 2 jazz realisticly drums is the easiest there are no chords or scales sure there are flams, parradidles and triplets and so on but no legatos countless scales arpaigios different styles of picking and hundreds of chords it all dpends at the level that u play Getty Lee, Stanley Clark Bass would be harder than Ringo Starr druming Al di meiola, John Mclaughclin, john pettruci would be harder than paul mc Cartney bass style , Neil Peart, Bill brufert, Steve Gadd, and old Phill Collins before Genesis in static X would be harder than george Harrison no disrespect to the great BEATLES lots of this musicians that I've mentioned are some of the biggest Beatle Fans

Well, I play piano and flute and this is my advice:

It can be very difficult to start the piano on your own. Is there an instrument you already play? With piano, you'd have to learn both treble and bass clef. Then you'd have to read both of them at the same time while playing with both hands. Not a easy thing to learn.

Guitars are much cheaper than a piano. If you're serious about learning piano, you'd want to buy a good quality one. I wouldn't just "try" it on a digital keyboard first. As any serious pianist will tell you, there's a HUGE difference between an acoustic piano and an electric piano.

To me, it just seems like the guitar would be easier to learn. Good luck on which ever you choose though.
References :
I think guitar hero and rockband are great. Personally , since playing the games I have been more interested in learning to play the actual instruments.
References :
lemme see, in my opinion, try out both instruments first, and see which in you're much more comfortable with. each instruments has it's own pros and cons. the people above me are right. you can bring that guitar everywhere, but also an electronic keyboard ( all electronic keyboards have those battery thingies). first of all, if fate tells you that you're not cut up for it. don't force yourself- try another instrument. piano's much, much easier for my point of view. And it won't give you cuts and wounds from too much practice.
References :
personal experience

I do not think guitar hero and similar games take away from interest in real musical instruments. It is a game and requires skill, but not nearly as much as playing a real instrument and not as rewarding. I play guitar hero and I play real guitar, piano, and take voice lessons. guitar hero is a game and just that. It is a seperate entity from actual instruments
